we visited dr. watson today for aviyah's 4 month checkup. she is 24.75" and 13 lb. 8 oz.

roll over

aviyah rolled over!!! she can roll over from her tummy to her back on both sides. now, we are working on her rolling over from her back to her tummy. she's almost there. AND aviyah had her first full on laughing giggle. it was so cute. we're trying to get her to do it again so that we can catch it on video for all to see. for now, enjoy this kooky photo of her in the most mismatched outfit of all time!!!

aviyah has been a little bit more grouchy in the afternoons, lately. she has been fighting sleep, and it's a little bit more difficult because she really is tired. but, she's getting so big, and she's doing so many new things. she is almost rolling over! she can go onto her side, but she can't quite get over on her own.

here, we are talking politics. she really thinks the democrats have a good chance to take control of the house in november. i agree that the public is looking for change, but i feel like the democrats need to explain a more clear and consistent vision for the country. i am skeptical, but we are both hopeful.
